Why is my Billion Connect eSIM not working?
If you have arrived at your destination and your Billion Connect eSIM shows "No Service", "Searching", or cannot connect to the internet, please follow these troubleshooting steps:
1. Ensure the eSIM Line is Active & Selected for Mobile Data
- Make sure your Billion Connect eSIM profile is switched ON.
- Set your device's Cellular Data / Mobile Data source to your eSIM line (instead of your primary physical SIM card).
2. Turn ON Data Roaming (Most Common Issue)
- Go to your device's Mobile/Cellular settings, select your Billion Connect eSIM line, and ensure Data Roaming is turned ON.
3. Verify APN Settings
- In most cases, the APN is configured automatically. If there is still no internet connection, check your Cellular Data Network / APN settings and confirm that the APN name matches the one specified in your Billion Connect plan details.
4. Manually Select a Local Network
- Go to Settings > Cellular/Mobile Data > Network Selection.
- Turn off Automatic network selection and manually select one of the supported local operators listed in your order details or installation guide.
5. Refresh Your Network Connection
- Toggle Airplane Mode ON for 10 seconds, then turn it OFF.
- If the issue persists, restart your device to force a fresh connection with the local cell tower.
6. Allow a Few Minutes for Registration
- When connecting to a roaming network for the first time, local carrier registration may take up to 5–10 minutes.
7. Still need help?
- If you are still unable to connect after following these steps, please contact Billion Connect Customer Support with your eSIM ICCID / Order Number and screenshots of your Cellular Settings.
