How do I fix the "Unable to add eSIM" or "Code no longer valid" error?
This error typically occurs when the eSIM profile has already been added to a device, or if the QR code scan was interrupted by a weak network connection.
If the eSIM was installed previously:
- Already Added: Go to your device’s cellular/mobile settings to complete the setup and enable the line for normal use.
- Having Issues? If you experience any problems with the installed eSIM, please contact our Customer Support Team for assistance.
- To Reinstall: If you need to reinstall the eSIM on the same device, you must delete the existing eSIM profile first (please ensure your plan supports re-installation).
- Switching Devices: If you want to transfer your eSIM to a new device, please refer to our guide "Can I transfer my Billion Connect eSIM to another device?"
If this is your first attempt:
- Ensure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
- Disable any active VPN connections.
- Check if your device has reached its maximum capacity for stored eSIM profiles.
